The short version

We collect the minimum necessary to run the site: an email address if you sign up as a member, and standard server logs. We don't sell your data. We don't run ad-tracking pixels. We use one cookie to remember whether you've dismissed the cookie banner.

What we collect

• Membership email and name — if you join the membership.
• Cookie preference — a single key in your browser's localStorage so the banner doesn't reappear.
• Anonymous server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL. Kept for 30 days for security purposes, then deleted.

What we don't do

• We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
• We don't sell or rent your email address.
• We don't share data with hotels or booking sites.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold on you, or request deletion, by emailing privacy@grandhotelreviews.com. We'll respond within 14 days.

Changes

If we materially update this policy, we'll email members and post a banner on the site for at least 30 days.
